Assignment Length:

13-week travel nursing contract

Shift:

6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour days)

Hours per Week:

Estimated Weekly Salary:

$1570 - $1680

Call Requirements:

One weekday per week and one weekend per month (weekend call is 24 hours from Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM)

Unit:

Operating Room (17 beds, includes CVOR and Transplant)

Documentation System:

Meditech EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute care hospital

Expertise in neurosurgery (85% spine, 15% brain cases)

Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)

BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required

Robotic surgery experience preferred

Meditech EMR experience preferred

Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, specializing in neuro, spine, and brain surgeries

Assist with general, neuro, orthopedic, robotic, urology, plastic, heart, and transplant procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to other hospital units as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR

Comply with hospital dress code and appearance standards (facility-provided scrubs, clean nails, neat hair, covered tattoos, limited visible piercings)
