We are currently seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist with benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and leaves of absence experience to join our HR team. Ability to travel in the Tri-state area. Responsibilities Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including conducting orientations, updating new hire documents and presentations, logistical set-up, scheduling and conducting benefit exit meetings. Process new hire paperwork, employee status changes, promotion, transfers and terminations and maintain employee personnel files via ADP. Assist Sr. Recruiter with job postings, background checks, temp requests, referral checks, and Summer Internship program. Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies. Assist Sr. HR Manager with all aspects of benefit administration including billing, open enrollment, and wellness and company events. Support Sr. HR Manager with FMLA and ADA leave of absence. Assist HR Director with Employee Relation investigations. Process temp employee invoices on a weekly basis. Identify process improvement possibilities, share ideas and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned and requested. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field. 3 - 5 years of HR Generalist experience. Experience working in a mid-to-large company. Experience with ADP Workforce Now. Strong knowledge of federal & state (primarily NY, NJ, FL) employment laws. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize with high efficiency. Strong Microsoft Office and organizational skills. Must be able to always maintain confidentiality.
