Job Overview

Phlebotomy representative (PSR II) collects high‑quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, maintains patient trust, and follows established practices. Work may be in a doctor's office, patient service center, or other business needs.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Directly contact patients, explain procedures, and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Perform daily activities accurately, on time, and maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Verify patient demographic information and signatures post‑venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Qualifications

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills for pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible with weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Can handle multiple priorities in high‑volume setting.
• Day shift Eastern (Mon‑Fri, 7 AM‑1 PM).
