Job Overview

As an Overnight Stock Associate, you will stock, rotate, and organize general merchandise and food throughout the club. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all products are clearly labeled and fully stocked while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment for our members.

Understanding Your Role:

• Learn to access and interpret production and financial performance metrics for your department.

Essential Duties:

• Stock, rotate, and organize merchandise and food accurately.
• Ensure all products are clearly labeled and available for our members.
• Handle damaged or spoiled items according to company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized club by performing general housekeeping tasks, including trash and debris removal.
• Uphold all club policies and procedures.
• Be flexible and ready to assist in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable attendance is crucial for this position.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in grocery or stocking roles.
• Previous big box or wholesale retail experience is a plus.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Work Environment:

• This role involves moving continuously on hard surfaces, with frequent bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly, and may occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.
• Work takes place primarily indoors, often around machinery and possibly noisy equipment requiring clear communication.
• Exposure to temperature fluctuations from coolers and freezers is possible.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning agents may occur.

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the starting compensation for this role is $18.00. BJ's Wholesale Club considers multiple factors when determining salaries.
