Maintenance Mechanic - Experienced

Join Frito‑Lay as a full‑time Maintenance Mechanic, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, as well as AC/DC electrical systems, pumps and PLCs. You will also operate lathes, mills, arc welders and perform fabrication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
• Read schematics and use testing equipment such as volt‑ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope.
• Perform preventive maintenance, work‑order tracking, and maintenance calls.
• Operate high‑voltage wiring (480 V 3‑phase motors) and multi‑craft repairs.
• Assist entry‑level mechanics and troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years mechanical/electrical repair experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to lift 15–50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and in extreme temperatures, humidity, and loud environments.
• Strong customer service, flexibility, self‑starter attitude, and safety focus.
