Job Summary

The Janitor (Full Time) at SSC Services For Education cleans and maintains Dyllis Springs Elementary School, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Location & Schedule

Dyllis Springs Elementary School – 120 Ollis Road, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
Full‑time: Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am. Online applications only.

Essential Duties

• Collect and dispose of trash following infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors according to approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture to maintain proper placement.
• Sanitize surfaces using the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor and follow all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinishes floors; shampoo carpet.
• Exhibit professionalism with customers, employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required – willing to train.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
