temporary HR Business Partner
for a manufacturing client in
East Longmeadow, MA . Position is expected to be a long-term contract role for a rapidly growing organization. If you’re an experienced HR professional looking to make an immediate impact within a respected manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Up to $40 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
Fully Onsite - Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
About the Role The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will partner closely with management and both salaried and hourly employees to support people-related initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive organizational success within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Align People Strategy with Business Goals:
Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with operational objectives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Advise management on employee relations issues and help foster a positive, productive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Manage recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding to attract and integrate top talent.
Performance & Workforce Planning:
Identify workforce challenges, support performance management, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
HR Policy & Compliance:
Guide managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
HR Operations:
Support onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, benefits administration, and HRIS updates with accuracy and confidentiality.
Training & Development:
Coordinate and deliver training on HR-related topics such as performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
Program Support:
Assist in administering payroll, benefits, and engagement programs.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and talent acquisition; manufacturing and union environment experience a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification preferred.
Systems:
Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance, payroll, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis.
High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
