A full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available within a K‑12 school setting in Lowell, MA. This contract position offers a comprehensive, in‑person caseload focused on Early Childhood speech and language needs, with an anticipated start date in the coming weeks.
The weekly schedule is set at 37.5 hours, providing consistent engagement throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across K‑12, with a specialization in Early Childhood caseloads.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance service delivery.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Experience providing SLP services in school‑based settings, particularly within pediatrics and healthcare.
Ability to work full time in a traditional school environment; the position does not support virtual services or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently.
