Job Description This field-based role is available in Sacramento, Elk Grove, Lodi, and Woodland (example locations). Candidates from other locations are encouraged to apply.
The overall responsibilities include providing clinical and customer support in hospitals and procedures, ensuring customer service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge of the highest order.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the DePuy Synthes sales organization in maintaining and growing existing customer relationships and in product conversions with new customers.
Guide surgeons in the operating room, present and demonstrate DePuy Synthes products, and ensure proper utilization.
Attend surgeries, ensure proper equipment is available, and consult on operating room and sterile processing department procedures.
Provide technical assistance, manage hospital billing, create and close purchase orders.
Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams; prepare sales reports and documents.
Maintain and deploy equipment and assets, ensuring product availability and promotional materials are presentable and of highest quality.
Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, differentiating DPS products from competitors.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum 2 years of professional experience, or 4 years of experience, or recently transitioned from active military duty.
Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Willingness to travel, including weekend and/or overnight travel.
Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen.
First‑class organizational skills, self‑motivated, positive, and proactive.
Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions preferred.
Benefits & Compensation Base pay range: $70,000. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, employees and eligible dependents may participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (401(k)) and long‑term incentive program.
