CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL is seeking multiple Paraeducators to work in our state‑of‑the‑art magnet school. Responsibilities include classroom management assistance, individual and group student instruction, behavioral management, and other classroom tasks. Successful candidates will provide one‑to‑one student or classroom support, academic assistance, behavioral redirection, and collaboration with regular education teachers. Qualifications: High school diploma plus two years of college credit (60 earned college credits) OR an Associate of Arts degree OR a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment. Ability to work with others and communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers (both orally and in writing). Experience working with students in a diverse school setting and high‑needs students preferred. Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and student information systems are a plus.
