Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced Autonomous Vehicles that push the boundaries of defense technology. The Autonomous Vehicles integrate complex electro‑mechanical systems, high‑precision sensors, and cutting‑edge software to operate in challenging environments.
As an Electrical Engineer you will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing electrical systems, writing firmware, and designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our cutting‑edge AUV technology. Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of our underwater control and navigation capabilities.
Qualifications
2 to 5 years** of experience in electrical engineering
specifically focusing on firmware development and board design.
Proficiency in
PCB design tools
(e.g., Altium Designer) and familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes.
Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit design, power electronics, and sensor integration. Experience with communication protocols such as
UART, SPI, I2C, CANbus, and Ethernet.
Strong proficiency in embedded firmware development using programming languages such as C/C++.
Experience with
Microchip dsPIC / STM STM32
microcontroller architectures.
Experience with
Embedded Linux Computers
(e.g., Raspberry Pi).
Preferred Experience
Experience in the marine or robotics industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of signal integrity analysis and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) is advantageous.
