Drive continuous development and tracking of key performance portfolio metrics across Bain Capital Private Credit. Conduct portfolio and strategy‑level analyses for portfolio management, investor requests, and internal analytics. Prepare Bain Capital Private Credit’s track record and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, external investors, and prospects. Partner with diligence and presentation teams on recurring and ad‑hoc LP and consultant questions and due diligence processes. Ensure ongoing accuracy, quality, and consistency of performance and portfolio analytics and related reporting. Maintain the integrity of internal processes, workflows, and databases used to track key performance and investment metrics across the PCG platform. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in performance measurement, portfolio analytics, or investment reporting. Private credit experience required—strong familiarity with credit terms, market structure, dynamics, and common LP/consultant data requests. Broader understanding of global financial markets preferred. Excellent communication skills; able to synthesize analyses clearly and articulate insights concisely and compellingly. Strong understanding of performance measurement calculations, methodologies, and differences. Familiarity with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and related representations. Prior experience with track record or Statement of Investments (SOI) preparation a plus. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets. High attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities, and triage competing requests effectively. Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, accountable, and self‑driven; capable of “connecting the dots” and executing with minimal guidance. Experience developing or improving processes and workflows within complex organizations. Technical proficiency or willingness to learn quickly: SQL, Python, Snowflake, Power BI, Fabric (DAX). Education
Four‑year college degree with a strong academic background. Major in accounting, finance, or related degree required. CFA/CAIA a plus. Compensation
Expected annual base salary $135,000 – $150,000. The base salary will be determined by role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual impact, team and firm performance. Benefits
