Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role involves setting the restaurant’s goals, creating plans to achieve them, and leading a team of Department Managers to meet those goals.
Responsibilities • Work with your leader to set the restaurant’s goals and create a plan to achieve the goals.
• Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, follow up on progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments.
• Oversee the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team for the future.
• Ensure that the restaurant meets McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness and that operations run profitably.
Qualifications • Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
• Strong background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail (desired).
• Minimum age 18 years or older to manage in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
