This exciting hands-on role within our Infrastructure & Platform Services team will provide you with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the firm’s cloud implementation, strategy, and architecture design. At BAM, you will work with some of the smartest and most driven individuals in the industry. Responsibilities

Serve as a mentor and guide to Cloud Engineering team members. Architect and manage BAM’s public cloud environment. Partner with developers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend cloud solutions and strategies. Collaborate with Infrastructure & Platform teams to provide a consistent end‑user experience across on‑premise and cloud environments. Write code (Python, Terraform, Puppet, etc.) to automate and optimize infrastructure and application deployment. Develop self‑service capabilities that allow stakeholders to quickly and efficiently access cloud services. Implement and support applications and systems running on BAM’s cloud environment. Stay up to date with the latest trends and offerings within cloud computing and champion cloud adoption across the organization. Provide a platform as a product to others within the organization, creating and maintaining a world‑class cloud and application platform. Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rotation and maintenance. Qualifications

7+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and implementing large‑scale, highly available services on public cloud (AWS preferred). Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field. Expert knowledge of immutable infrastructure, automation, and provisioning tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform). Strong understanding of AWS products (EC2, S3, ALB/NLB, VPC, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Batch, IAM, SQS, SNS).

Expert (or strong) knowledge of Kubernetes as a platform including cluster creation, management, security, and application deployment. Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Helm. Experience with cloud‑native security practices, FinOps principles, and cloud cost optimization. Strong automation scripting skills (Python, Bash). Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL‑based). Operational understanding of networking concepts, hybrid cloud integration, and best practices. Hands‑on experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes). Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Familiarity with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, BitBucket, Azure Pipelines). Analytical and documentation skills enabling clear, concise problem resolution and architecture representation. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate. Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS) are a plus.
