Social Media Marketing Director This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a Social Media Marketing Director.
The role involves creating engaging short‑form video content (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) featuring our vehicles, dealership team, and customer experiences. You’ll work closely with our management team to plan and execute social media strategies that increase visibility, engagement, and leads across all platforms.
Responsibilities
Filming and editing TikToks, Instagram Reels, and short videos highlighting new arrivals and featured units
Managing and posting content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Brainstorming creative ideas to showcase our cars, dealership culture, and promotions
Analyzing engagement metrics and adjusting content for maximum reach
Maintaining consistent brand voice and style across all platforms
Being camera‑ready and comfortable speaking or appearing in videos
Qualifications
Experience with social media marketing, content creation, or video editing (preferred but not required)
Comfortable on camera and confident with storytelling and presentation
Strong knowledge of current social media trends, hashtags, and audience engagement tactics
Reliable, creative, and self‑motivated with a good sense of humor and attention to detail
Must have a smartphone or camera capable of recording high‑quality videos
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to the dealership as needed
Compensation
Pay is negotiable — can be structured hourly or per day
