Accounting Office Manager
to take ownership of the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys overseeing all aspects of accounting - from A/P and A/R to payroll and month-end close. As the
Accounting Office Manager , you'll work directly with ownership and play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth operations across accounting, payroll, and benefits. Key Responsibilities of Accounting Office Manager Manage the full accounting cycle, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and journal entries. Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports. Oversee bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate reporting of benefits and deductions. Handle new hire onboarding, benefit administration, and personnel record maintenance. Collaborate with external CPA for quarterly reviews and year-end tax preparation. Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures. Support leadership with budget tracking, reporting, and variance analysis. Qualifications of Accounting Office Manager 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage, or a similar accounting system. Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll). Familiar with benefit administration and employee onboarding. Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
