Job Description The Sales Training Director leads the design, development, and delivery of training programs for Medline’s sales force and senior management. This role is a strategic partner to sales and commercial support functions, ensuring that all training initiatives align with Medline’s business objectives, priorities and core values. The Director leads a training team, fosters a culture of relentless customer focus, is committed to driving team and individual success and

builds meaningful relationships with cross functional stakeholders in sales, HR, marketing, divisions and sales operations. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Partnership Serve as a credible, influential leader and partner as well as sales training subject matter expert to assigned sales teams and commercial support functions.

Collaborate with sales leadership to translate business needs into prioritized training objectives and actionable plans.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and engaging culture.

Training Program Development Direct, design, and deliver training programs that reflect Medline’s core values and produce measurable ROI.

Identify training needs and gaps, scale best practices, and implement solutions that support the success of the sales force.

Oversee all aspects of training including rep onboarding programs, field training, micro-learning/e-learnings as well as ongoing reinforcement. Inform and as needed facilitate special training events (e.g., bootcamps, summits, sales meetings).

Team Management & Development Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Training team, setting clear roles, expectations, and individual development plans.

Promote purposeful candor by encouraging open, honest feedback and continuous improvement.

Hold the team accountable for delivering high-quality training aligned with Medline’s values and business pace.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement Measure and communicate the impact of training initiatives on sales metrics and rep activity.

Use data-driven insights to refine programs and address evolving business needs with agility and flexibility.

Maintain a feedback loop with field sales, sales leadership and commercial/division stakeholders to guide future changes and improvements.

Operational Excellence Oversee day-to-day training excellence, budgetary responsibilities, and compliance policy execution for team members.

Recommend and implement new approaches or modifications to enhance training effectiveness.

Foster a culture of problem solving and adaptability with team in pursuit of achieving defined KPIs and deliverables.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 7 years of proven sales or account management success

Advanced at developing and delivering presentations as well as facilitating to diverse audiences

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint as well as emerging AI tools such as MS Copilot

Willingness to travel up to 30% for business purposes

Preferred Requirements Experience training or selling in a clinically sensitive sales environment.

3+ years of Medline Sales and/or field training experience.

Prior experience leading a training and development team.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
