Executive Summary We are seeking a Remote Sensing Scientist/Analyst with expertise in satellite and aerial imagery interpretation. This hybrid role is integral to multidisciplinary teams focusing on environmental monitoring, defense, and disaster response, directly impacting analytical accuracy and actionable insights for clients.
Required Skills and Experience
Image Processing Software : Expert in ERDAS IMAGINE or ENVI for imagery analysis (3+ years).
Spectral Signatures : Strong understanding of techniques including Radiometric Correction to ensure data integrity.
Algorithms : Proven ability in Image Classification and Change Detection methodologies.
Programming : Experience in Python with GDAL/Rasterio for automating and scaling image analysis workflows.
Advanced Analytics : Capability to extract insights, creating geospatial products for varied end-users.
Documentation & Presentation : Skills for conveying findings and methodologies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Professional Experience : Minimum of 3 years in satellite or aerial imagery analysis.
Desired Skills and Experience
Machine Learning : Familiarity with machine learning models to enhance image analysis capabilities.
GIS Tools : Proficiency in Geographic Information System (GIS) software for spatial data analysis.
Programming Languages : Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., R, C++) for diverse algorithm implementation.
Cloud Computing : Experience with cloud platforms for large-scale data processing.
Technical Writing : Background in producing technical documentation related to remote sensing products.
Preferred Qualifications
Cultural Fit : Strong team player capable of collaborating across various disciplines.
Soft Skills : Excellent communication and problem-solving skills essential in a hybrid work environment.
