Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the daily accounting operations at Parameter. We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced professional to manage core accounting functions and cost controls while collaborating closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Financial Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of GAAP to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage and analyze general ledger accounts across multiple legal entities, including preparation of consolidated financial statements
Perform intercompany reconciliations and collaborate with other consolidating subsidiaries on Intercompany transactions
Process payroll and support employee benefit accounting on an ad-hoc basis
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis and management reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses
Monitor and maintain internal controls and recommend improvements
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, as needed
Assist in tax preparation, filings, and regulatory reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and analysis
Research accounting issues and provide recommendations for proper treatment
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
5 years of accounting experience (public and/or corporate)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, etc.)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands
Frequently remaining in a stationary position, including standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods
Work Environment This role is typically performed in an office setting, with occasional travel to attend events, meet with clients, or collaborate with other departments.
Flexibility to work remotely, depending on company policy and project requirements.

$75,000- $100,000, plus participation in the company's incentive compensation program.
