Leasing Consultant – 30 Hours
Bigos Management, Inc. is recruiting for a Leasing Consultant who will support apartment rentals, move‑ins, and lease renewals at our Expo – Minneapolis location.
Location Expo – Minneapolis, MN (372 Units)
Hours & Schedule Full‑time, 30 hrs/week: Mon – Tue – Fri 9:30 am – 6:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Dates and hours subject to change.
Pay Range & Benefits Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 / hr (hiring range).

SUMMARY Leasing Consultants perform all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, and lease renewals. The incumbent interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move‑in paperwork and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Answer incoming phone inquiries regarding available apartments and encourage prospects to schedule appointments.
Provide tours of available apartments that meet prospect needs.
Inform prospects of the advantages of renting from Bigos Management.
Maintain working knowledge of competition using public information.
Follow up with prospects who have not made a decision.
Qualify all prospective renters using company‑approved procedures.
Move‑in new renters, discuss lease and complex rules, conduct move‑in inspection.
Move out departing renters and conduct move‑out inspections.
Follow‑up with residents on lease renewal.
Other duties as assigned by Property Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years customer service and/or sales experience required.
Previous leasing experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
Diplomatic, tactful, courteous with co‑workers and public.
Organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer literacy (email, web).
Real Estate License must not be active while working in this role.
Physical Demands
Mobility to work standard office setting and use of computer; lift up to 10 lb; navigate property/building; climb stairs, walk hallways and common areas.
Work Environment Office working conditions; on property.
