Leasing Consultant – Avenue5 Residential – Austin, TX
We’re looking for a talented leasing consultant responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑, move‑outs, and lease renewals. The role focuses on achieving maximum occupancy and ensuring resident retention and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Qualifies prospective residents, leases apartments, prepares lease documentation, and completes move‑in paperwork.
Maintains accurate leasing records and processes renewal paperwork.
Converts phone traffic into scheduled appointments and tours the property.
Inspects apartments prior to resident move‑ins and coordinates move‑in/out needs with maintenance.
Supports management with clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, and processing property invoices.
Assists with planning resident activities to increase retention and comply with all company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma required.
Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred.
One year of previous residential leasing experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system preferred.
Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
Must complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within first 30 days of employment.
