Pay Range Base pay: $135,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr

Additional compensation: Annual Bonus

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.

Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision‑making processes.

Accounting Operations:

Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Manage the month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Internal Controls:

Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Monitor compliance with internal control policies and procedures.

Identify and address control deficiencies.

Audit Support:

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audit inquiries.

Address audit findings and implement recommendations.

Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Recommend and implement best practices in financial reporting and controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation required.

Proven experience in a financial management role within the financial services industry or public accounting with an emphasis on financial service clients.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Five to ten years post‑graduate experience.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus).

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
