Our client is seeking a mid-level
Quality Assurance Engineer
to join a fast‑paced production facility near Medway, MA. This role supports quality assurance activities across incoming, in‑process, and final inspections for electromechanical hardware, textiles, and composite components in an AS9100‑regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Base Pay Range $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections (incoming, in‑process, final) on electromechanical hardware, textiles, and composites
Verify product conformance to drawings, specifications, and acceptance test criteria
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to resolve quality issues
Interface with suppliers to address non‑conformances and implement corrective actions
Compile and maintain inspection data and supplier documentation for customer submission
Support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives, including AS9100 and CMMI compliance
Assist in the development and review of procedures, work instructions, and quality plans
Manage calibrated equipment program and support internal audits
Interface with customer QA representatives and support source inspections (travel
Review and approve engineering changes related to assigned programs
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and team collaboration skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Preferred Experience
Welding inspection and familiarity with AMS specifications
Certified IPC‑A‑610/620 Inspector
Internal auditing experience
Background in ISO9000 or AS9100 environments
Experience with DOD electromechanical products
Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI/ASME Y14.5
