Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to address complex business and R&D problems, such as medical device improvement, sales forecasting, customer segmentation, and product adoption in the healthcare and medical device sectors. Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets, including patient claims, EHR, and real-world evidence (RWE) data to generate actionable insights that enhance business decision-making and improve predictive model performance. Utilize cloud computing platforms like AWS for scalable data processing, model training, and optimization, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets and seamless deployment of models in a production environment. Develop advanced algorithms to optimize resource allocation, including sales representative deployment, contract negotiations, and market expansion strategies, driving operational efficiency and revenue growth. Integrate model outputs and analytics into platforms like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI, ensuring that business teams have easy access to real-time insights, with minimal disruption to workflows. Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, product development, and senior leadership to interpret complex data, present findings, and provide actionable recommendations aligned with strategic business goals.

Requirements Employer will accept a Master's degree in Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation.

Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $150,531 - $158,058 annually.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company-sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year, Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – 56 hours per calendar year; Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child; Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member, 5 days for an extended family member; Caregiver Leave – 10 days; Volunteer Leave – 4 days; Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours.
