Position Overview Director of Operations

– based out of our corporate HQ in

Canton, GA . This role reports to the COO and is central to our ONE PSI vision, breaking down silos, aligning people and processes, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

Strategic Operations Leadership:

Translate business objectives into operational strategies, implement systems to monitor performance, efficiency, and profitability; act as a strategic partner to the COO and Divisional Leaders; establish and drive KPIs across productivity, profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, and asset management.

Field Operations Safety, Quality, Process, and Asset Oversight:

Lead safety, quality, equipment, logistics and PSI Proven Process; develop scalable safety and quality programs; establish clear operational protocols; conduct field visits; lead the Project Management Office; provide oversight and guidance to project managers; implement pre‑construction‑to‑closeout workflows; continuously improve processes.

Process & Performance Optimization:

Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives; utilize Change Management, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen; lead Construction AI implementation; optimize workflows; develop and mentor a high‑performing operations team; collaborate with HR for workforce planning and succession; reinforce alignment through communication and performance development.

Client Experience & Stakeholder Alignment:

Serve as key executive contact for clients; align operations with client needs and contractual requirements; lead conflict resolution; champion client‑first mindset; coordinate new client onboarding.

Resource & Asset Management:

Oversee fleet, facilities, warehousing and equipment; optimize asset utilization; manage capital planning and procurement; identify supporting software platforms for capital and maintenance.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in an executive or director‑level operations role.

Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial, residential or industrial construction projects.

Deep knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations (OSHA), building codes and industry standards.

Familiarity with contract negotiations, procurement, subcontractor management and budgeting.
