Operations Manager W3Global – Tyler, TX

Responsibilities

Directly oversee and mentor Project Managers, Production Manager, Shop Manager, and Procurement Manager.

Lead weekly operational meetings, project management sessions, and field huddles to align teams with company objectives and drive operational excellence.

Promote leadership development and training across field operations, encouraging accountability and growth.

Review project schedule overlap & coordination, crew logistics, resource allocation, and daily rollout for field teams.

Oversee the hand‑off and closeout process for projects, ensuring proper documentation and client satisfaction.

Conduct regular site visits to assess quality, performance, and safety compliance.

Implement and enforce SOPs for safety, quality, and efficiency across all construction operations.

Manage Aspire metrics, work ticket workflows, and long‑term project scheduling pipelines.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance field execution and operational systems.

Direct asset management strategies, ensuring proper maintenance and tracking of equipment.

Oversee procurement and allocation of materials, coordinating with logistics and procurement staff.

Approve new asset purchases in alignment with budget and operational needs.

Approve payroll, monitor hours/PTO, and manage rate change requests.

Oversee project invoicing reviews, progress billing, and monthly/quarterly financial assessments.

Manage expenses in accordance with divisional budgets, optimizing resource use and cost controls.

Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop strategic initiatives that advance the division.

Set and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability.

Lead changes in processes and systems to support scalable growth.

Assist with cross‑divisional initiatives requiring operational expertise.

Provide support for company‑wide training, safety programs, and leadership development initiatives.

Act as a liaison between field operations and executive leadership.

Essential Skills

Proven ability to lead large teams across multiple job sites with complex logistics.

Advanced understanding of construction project management, field operations, and crew dynamics.

Strong skills in operational software (Aspire preferred), scheduling systems, and inventory management.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to transform data into actionable decisions.

Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on leadership to balance immediate needs with long‑term goals.

Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks.

Compensation $41,237.00 – $68,728.00
