Senior Project Manager Commercial General Contractor Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Our client, a well-established and growing General Contractor with a strong presence across Texas, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their DFW office.

This is a key leadership role within a company recognized for delivering high-quality ground-up commercial projects across a variety of sectors, including:

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your projects, from preconstruction through closeout, while leading teams and ensuring excellence in quality, budget, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects from conception to completion.

Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Act as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and consultants, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.

Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring work meets quality, schedule, and safety expectations.

Drive preconstruction efforts, including design coordination, estimating support, and scope development.

Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and risk management to protect company interests.

Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Project Engineers, promoting professional growth within the team.

Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies, and project delivery procedures.

Deliver multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus on deadlines, budgets, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering ground-up commercial projects.

Proven background in K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, or Multi-Family construction.

Strong technical knowledge of construction means, methods, and project management software.

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
