Amazon Connect (EC3 Contact Center) Engineer
Job Title:
Systems Engineer – Amazon Connect (EC3 Contact Center)
Location:
Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX - 2 weeks Onsite per Month
Interview Process:
60-minute interview with Manager and a few engineers.
Responsibilities The ideal candidate will help address a backlog of work on
AWS Connect
within the Contact Center Platform.
Key focus areas include:
Strong hands‑on experience configuring
Amazon Connect .
Background as a
Systems Engineer
(not DevOps focused).
Programming experience (Node.js, Python, etc.) is a plus but not required.
Solid understanding of
AWS services
and ecosystem to effectively support and enhance the platform.
Qualifications / Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
8+ years
of hands‑on experience as a
Systems Engineer .
Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, supporting, and troubleshooting Contact Center and telephony products.
Hands‑on expertise with
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
and
Amazon Connect .
Experience designing and implementing cloud‑based integrations using AWS services such as:
Lambda
(Node.js or Python)
DynamoDB
CloudFormation , and others.
Experience with
Jenkins , including authoring and maintaining declarative
CI/CD pipelines .
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues using
CloudWatch
and other monitoring tools.
Ability to provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and architectural guidance to internal teams.
Experience working cross‑functionally with teams including
Cloud, Security, Telephony, and Support .
Proficiency with
version control
and
CI/CD deployment pipelines .
Strong understanding of
enterprise‑scale platform architecture , emphasizing
high availability
and
business continuity .
