About the Char Network
Char Network is a proof-of-stake application coordination protocol built on Bitcoin. By anchoring data into Bitcoin through cryptographic proofs and economic guarantees, Char will power the next generation of Bitcoin layer‑twos. Led by Bitcoin developer Jeremy Rubin, a small, sharp, and adventurous crew pushes the limits of Bitcoin.
About The Role You will be helping external projects use the Char Network successfully, and document pain points to improve our product. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and customer success—ideal for someone who is technically proficient, enjoys problem‑solving, has experience consulting, and thrives in a hands‑on environment.
You will work directly with developers, Bitcoin stakers, and other technical users to ensure smooth integrations, troubleshoot issues, and provide deep technical support. You'll also act as a bridge between the engineering contributors of the Char Network and end users, relaying valuable feedback to improve the Char Network.
Responsibilities
Work closely with developer teams to leverage the Char Network to deploy their own L2s.
Guide Bitcoin stakers to support system integrations and deployments.
Provide hands‑on technical guidance and troubleshooting during implementation.
Develop technical documentation, best practices, and reference implementations.
Act as a liaison between end users and internal teams, ensuring feedback loops drive product improvements.
Lead workshops, demos, and training sessions to enhance user adoption.
Identify and resolve technical roadblocks related to integration and deployment.
Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in Bitcoin and blockchain technologies.
Qualifications Must‑Haves
Strong technical background, either as an engineer or in an engineer‑adjacent role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Rust.
Experience with system integration, APIs, and distributed systems.
Ability to debug technical issues and communicate solutions effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping developers succeed.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with Bitcoin or other blockchain technologies.
Prior experience in a Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, or Integration Engineering role.
