Position Overview We are currently looking for an Asst Director Engineer to join our team at Grand Beach, a Hilton Vacation Club in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will assist the Director Engineer in coordinating programs involving electrical, mechanical, general construction, and repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities
Assigns, coordinates, and verifies completion of routine maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment that support efficient and safe operations of the facility.
Visually inspects quality of work.
Acts as the Director Engineer in the absence of the Director in duties such as hiring, counseling, and training.
Coordinates inspections of all elevators and escalators with the proper regulating agency.
Works in conjunction with hotel managers and acts as a liaison between property and vendors to review latest hotel technology and products.
Additional duties assigned by Management, as needed, to further business objectives to include meeting attendance, managing contracts, budget management, and special projects.
Qualifications
3+ years of related experience.
4+ years of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.
EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO certifications.
HVAC – Electrical – plumbing specific.
Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
