Job Title Mechanical QA Inspector (On‑site) – Dallas, TX
Salary: $77,000.00–$87,000.00
What you will do In this role, you will use process sheets, blueprints, and measuring tools to inspect completed parts for acceptable tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of precision‑manufactured components (1‑3 years of experience required).
Read and interpret blueprints (1‑3 years of experience required).
Utilize a variety of manual hand tools (1‑3 years of experience required):
Calipers
ID/OD Micrometers
Depth Micrometers
Gauge Blocks
Pin/Plug Gages
Taper Gages
Tri‑Micrometers
Material Hardness Tester
Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections using the AX Shop Floor system.
Calibration Duties
Knowledge of a CMM with PC DEMIS software.
Perform calibration of in‑house tools such as:
Calipers
Pin/Plug Gages
ID/OD Micrometers
Depth Micrometers
Various shop tools
Ensure compliance with quality standards and calibration protocols.
Accurate documentation of all calibration activities.
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
What We Are Looking For We're looking for engaged individuals who are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning, and enjoy working with others.
Key Competencies
1‑3 years of experience in mechanical inspection and blueprint reading/interpretation.
Strong proficiency with manual hand tools used for precision measurement.
Experience with the AX Shop Floor system is a plus.
Experience as a CMM operator or in a calibration lab is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills.
High School Diploma (Required).
Bilingual would be a plus.
Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
