Our client,
an American retailer that owns and operates 4 brands that are well known , is looking for someone to join their team as a
Business Systems Analyst. This role is fully remote and would support PST hours.
*This is a 6 month W2 contract that can extend*
In this role, you will support and optimize the clients procurement and legal operations systems, with a focus on Zip (intake-to-pay platform) and Ironclad (contract lifecycle management). This role will be responsible for having discussions with design team as they are working through the design on the new legal system, managing system configurations, troubleshooting issues, and driving enhancements across these platforms to ensure seamless workflows and data integrity.
What You Will Be Doing
Act as the go-to technical contact for Zip and Ironclad system issues across procurement, legal, and finance teams
Monitor, triage, and resolve day-to-day operational issues (e.g., approval routing errors, integration failures, contract sync issues)
Provide first-level support and elevate complex issues to vendors or engineering as needed
Maintain and optimize workflows, approval chains, and data mappings within Zip and Ironclad
Partner with engineering and IT teams to define integration logic between Zip, Ironclad, ERP, and other internal systems
Document system configurations, sync schedules, and exception handling procedures
Serve as the liaison with Zip and Ironclad vendor teams for support, updates, and roadmap alignment
Manage vendor SLAs, support tickets, and configuration changes
Support testing and validation of new features, bug fixes, and platform updates
Track enhancement requests, change logs, and backlog items in tools like Jira
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting procurement or legal operations
Experience with Coupa
Hands‑on experience with Zip and Ironclad platforms
Strong understanding of procurement workflows (e.g., intake-to-pay, vendor onboarding, approvals) and contract lifecycle management
Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to work through ambiguity
Strong communication skills; comfortable interfacing with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
