Mergers and Acquisition Tax Specialist

Chicago, Illinois . The role supports corporate tax planning, M&A due diligence, and financial reporting.

Position Responsibilities

Support M&A related matters including due diligence, risk assessment, and integration activity for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and investments.

Provide support for the Company’s financial reporting requirements for income taxes (ASC 740).

Develop new process efficiencies and support the Company’s tax planning opportunities.

Research new tax laws (international and domestic) and advise on implications to the Company.

Assist with developing processes and procedures to ensure compliance, mitigate risks and capture opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.

6+ years of experience in corporate income tax.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience researching and analyzing data.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Public Accounting.

Excellent communication skills across multiple levels of leadership.

Experience with interpreting federal and/or international tax laws and regulations.

Ability to learn new areas and take on new responsibilities.

Work Environment This position is hybrid and may require onsite work at one of Boeing’s Chicago locations. Working hours are 1st shift.

Pay & Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation. Total rewards include health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Summary pay range: $120,700 – $163,300.
