About the Department / Team You’ll be joining Invesco’s dedicated proxy voting and stewardship team within the Investments division. The team plays a critical role in shaping Invesco’s approach to investment stewardship, working closely with Proxy Voting & Governance, Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance, and Sustainable Investments to ensure our proxy voting activities reflect our values and fiduciary responsibilities.
About the Role As an Investment Stewardship Analyst, you will lead day‑to‑day proxy voting activities, including proposal research, vote recommendations aligned with Invesco’s Global Proxy Policy, and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing team and help shape the future of investment stewardship at Invesco.
Responsibilities
Analyze proxy meeting materials and develop vote recommendations aligned with Invesco’s Global Proxy Policy
Conduct research using company filings, proxy advisor insights, and alternative data sources
Collaborate with investment teams and other internal partners to evolve proxy voting guidelines
Aggregate and report proxy voting data to support internal and external transparency
Partner with Legal, Compliance, Sustainable Investments, and other teams to provide stewardship insights
Support client inquiries and requests related to proxy voting and stewardship
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred; equivalent experience considered
3–5+ years of experience in investment stewardship, investment management, or a related field
Strong interest in proxy voting, corporate governance, and long‑term value creation
Technical skills in investment data analysis and a broad understanding of financial markets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior‑level audiences
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and creative problem‑solving
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
CFA Charterholder or MBA preferred (or progress toward either)
Compensation Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 / year, based on skills, experience and location. Total compensation will include incentive pay and may vary.
