Unity Search has partnered with a North Dallas public company looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. The Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning for a publicly traded company, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners with internal teams and external advisors to manage tax obligations, optimize strategies, and support financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ASC 740 tax provisions and disclosures for SEC reporting.
Develop and execute tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
Review corporate federal, state, and local tax returns.
Lead and support audits, working with external auditors and regulators.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations on transactions and initiatives.
Streamline processes and implement best practices.
Supervise and mentor tax staff.
Qualifications
5+ years of tax experience; public company or Big 4 background preferred.
Good ASC 740 experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
