Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.

Oversee the processing of general ledger transactions, cash receipts, payroll, and treasury functions, driving efficiency and timeliness.

Prepare and issue monthly financial statements for multiple legal entities, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

Manage the fixed asset module, including implementation and ongoing maintenance, to optimize asset utilization.

Conduct cash forecasts, P&L variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to support financial planning initiatives.

Direct staff on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and principles while fostering professional development.

Collaborate on annual reviews and regulatory audits, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements.

Qualifications – Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

6–8+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.

Proven supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.

Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Great Plains or Accpac.

Solid understanding of balance sheet components, including fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and deferred rent.

Ability to work independently, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and propose journal entries.

Qualifications – Nice-to-Have

Experience in the restaurant, retail, or multi‑unit sectors.

Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.

Familiarity with financial planning and analysis projects.
