Senior Analyst, Finance Data & Insights
reporting to the Manager of BI & Analytics is a full‑time role working on‑site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary The Senior Analyst of Finance Data & Insights functions as an integral part of the Finance Transformation Hub and will support all business intelligence and analytics efforts across the Finance organization. The focus of this role will be to deliver business intelligence tools providing insight into the Royal Caribbean Group’s Finance portfolio and any other areas that ultimately impact the guest experience and profitability. The position will drive various projects partnering with Finance functional owners to assess their respective areas and uncover data‑driven insights that enable optimization and reduction of administrative burden.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the various teams in the Finance organization to understand their business challenges and objectives and identify opportunities to develop potential business improvements and efficiency gains.
Determine requirements and business needs to develop new reporting, analytical tools and optimization techniques to develop actionable results and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Create weekly, monthly and annual reports which track KPIs for the Finance organization. Report the results to different levels of the organization in various formats and settings.
Conduct competitive analyses on cost and productivity across Finance organization to identify actionable insights, make recommendations and influence the business by effectively communicating results to cross‑functional leadership and executives.
Quantify performance improvement opportunities through graphs, schedules, dashboards and any other dynamic reporting tools. Offer recommendations and business solutions based on conducted analysis.
Respond to ad‑hoc data and analysis needs while supporting various projects and automating manual reports where possible.
Translate analytics into the stakeholder’s native language and tell stories to make complex things simple to understand and translate into measurable actions.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Four‑year bachelor’s or equivalent required; MBA or other master’s degree preferred; two to three years related business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
Strong PC skills are required.
Ability to structure logically quantitative analyses of complex issues.
Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Advanced Power BI required and proficiency in SQL and other business intelligence tools preferred.
Analytical: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions.
Complex problem solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions.
Presentation: Using computer skills and communication style to create, manipulate, edit and communicate slide presentations. Understanding end‑state and the best way to present a story in a logical and analytical fashion to achieve desired results.
Active listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating and taking time to understand points being made.
Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
