Responsibilities
Own electrical design for all products, including schematic capture, PCB layout, microcontroller selection, and power supply architecture.
Develop and integrate microcontroller firmware to optimize hardware performance and ensure seamless communication between hardware and embedded code.
Prototype and iterate PCB designs using simulation and rapid fabrication to validate concepts and accelerate development cycles.
Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and product reliability requirements, especially for operation under extreme environmental conditions.
Innovate new circuit architectures and experiment with component selection and firmware optimization to advance product capabilities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, quality, manufacturing) to deliver high-performance, manufacturable product solutions.
Document all electrical designs, including schematics, layout files, firmware, and test/compliance reports.
Identify and work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure robust design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) practices.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of professional post‑graduate experience as an Electrical Engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Expertise in Altium, OrCAD, or other industry-standard schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Strong practical experience with microcontrollers, communication systems, and embedded systems integration.
In-depth knowledge of electronics engineering fundamentals, including analog circuits, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with automation systems, power distribution, and electrical safety compliance (TÜV, CE, IEC standards).
Hands‑on approach to rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
Familiarity with design-for-manufacturability and design-for-testability principles.
Strong documentation skills for schematics, firmware, and compliance reports.
Passionate about continuous learning, exploring new technologies, and challenging traditional design approaches.
