Key Responsibilities

Setting aggressive but achievable growth targets with a plan and timeline

Segmenting and prioritizing customers based on growth opportunity and product fit

Leveraging successful candidate’s experience and network to build and maintain relationships

Growing our distributor network to service these channels

Structuring and negotiating sales agreements, pricing, promotions and merchandising, co‑op funding as appropriate

Leading business reviews and performing analyses with the support of our insights team, adjusting strategy based on performance and market trends

Generating forecasts and ensuring operational alignment with supply chain, logistics and fulfillment to satisfy channel demands

Collaborating with insights and marketing teams to develop channel‑specific go‑to‑market plans, point‑of‑sale materials, and creative merchandising

Qualifications

10+ years sales experience in food or snack CPG, with proven success in at least two of the following priority channels: military, health & fitness, travel

Well‑developed contact network and connections with both broadline distributors and end customers / buyers

Understanding of co‑op marketing and merchandising specifics for non‑traditional channels (which differ from traditional ones)

Strong track record of growing revenue through distributor and channel partner networks

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage and develop sales teams, set quotas, and achieve KPI targets

Strong analytical skills: comfortable with sales forecasting, channel‑profit modelling, margin analysis, promotional ROI

Strong collaborator and negotiator

Willingness to travel frequently

Bachelor’s degree minimum
