Head of Technical Sales Manager – Energy Storage & Renewable Solutions
Location: Germany with office visits
A BESS manufacturer are hiring a
highly experienced Technical Sales Manager
to drive business development and client engagement in the rapidly evolving energy storage and renewable energy sector. The role focuses on providing technical solutions and building strong industrial client relationships for large-scale energy storage and photovoltaic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end sales process from technical consultation to contract closure for complex energy solutions.
Develop and negotiate offers, pricing, and contracts with industrial clients and decision-makers.
Independently define technical specifications in line with process engineering and customer requirements.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client presentations, showcasing innovative energy solutions.
Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and client engagement, contributing to regional growth strategies.
Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Requirements
10+ years’ experience
in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and/or Photovoltaics, with demonstrable senior-level responsibility.
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Proven track record in technical sales of complex industrial energy solutions, including pre-sales consultation and deal closing.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to industrial stakeholders and negotiate contracts.
Fluency in German and English; willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Strategic, results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
