Job Summary The Community Specialist is responsible for executing the store’s community strategy. This involves engaging with the community through relationship building, events, and other activities, supporting lululemon product seeding, and attending local studios. The Specialist develops and sustains local key relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other influential partners, delivers a world‑class guest experience on the floor, and brings a community perspective into every customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with store leadership to bring community strategy and guest experience to life.

Establish and manage local key relationships (e.g., Ambassadors, Sweat Collective, studio owners, lululemon Studio partner studios) to increase new guest acquisition and retention.

Engage with the local community to identify future Ambassador or partner opportunities and enhance the store’s standing as a community hub.

Connect with guests on the floor to assess their unique needs, provide technical product education, and incorporate omnichannel programs into a seamless end‑to‑end guest experience.

Attend, support, and/or host local and regional community events.

Execute the product seeding strategy through community partners and Ambassadors.

Review community‑relevant business data and metrics to identify and share insights and recommendations with store leadership regarding events, projects, or initiatives.

Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences, ensuring a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.

Requirements Eligibility

Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located.

Must have the ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.

Schedule / Availability

Work schedule can vary based on store needs.

Shifts are typically scheduled: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some employees.

Experience

1 year of cumulative experience in customer service or engagement, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community building.

Job Assets (Nice to Have)

Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above.

Experience building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners; motivating team members to accomplish goals or activities.

Work can occur in various locations and environments, including moving through the store with bright lights and loud music, and at locations throughout the community.

Work involves building relationships with new people, strengthening community partnerships, and participating in events related to fitness or movement.

Work is accomplished as part of a team, sometimes independently, and sometimes using a computer or other technical devices.

Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range: $22.50 - $25.89/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location. Target Bonus: $2.00/hour. Total Target Base Pay Range: $24.50 - $27.89/hour.

The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
