About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, relationship‑driven Account Executive to represent our company to our specialty retailers across Northern Louisiana and Arkansas. Experience in retail will be considered in lieu of a sales background.
This field‑based position is ideal for someone who thrives on building partnerships, analyzing business opportunities, and helping boutique owners grow profitable company businesses. You’ll work closely with your Regional Sales Manager and our home office team to strengthen our presence across the territory. Our most successful Account Executives combine an entrepreneurial spirit with strong business acumen – they are trusted advisors who bring insights, training, and creativity to every customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing specialty retailers, identifying opportunities to grow sales across all accessory company categories.
Prospect and open high‑quality new accounts that align with this company’s brand values and standards.
Analyze account performance and use data to make informed assortment and reorder recommendations.
Partner with store owners and teams to train, motivate, and inspire confident selling.
Plan and execute in‑store events, trunk shows, and seasonal product launches that create excitement and drive traffic.
Participate in regional and national markets as required.
Maintain accurate account records, sales reports, and travel schedules.
Qualifications
Must own a spacious vehicle to travel within your territory, carrying necessary samples, equipment, and materials.
Must be able to travel freely within the region for early morning visits.
Must be stylish with a strong sense of fashion to best represent the brand.
A proven track record in wholesale, account management, or retail buying or sales, ideally within fashion, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics or lifestyle categories.
A passion for relationships and the ability to influence through trust, integrity, and follow‑through.
Strong organizational and analytical skills – able to use sales data to guide smart decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to store owners and teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools a plus.
Open availability to travel without limitations throughout the territory, including overnight travel approximately 8–10 days per month and attend markets and company meetings as needed.
Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs. of samples/luggage.
