About
As a Lecturer in the Degree Apprenticeship team, you will work with learners who study alongside full‑time work to develop their professional expertise. We teach using blended learning, supporting learners through online content, remote interactive sessions (e.g., WebEx or forums), and live‑online or face‑to‑face workshops. Key Responsibilities
Design and take ownership of multiple modules in the Degree Apprenticeship programme, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality learning, including online support and a series of live‑online workshops. Develop course materials for various modules, such as video content, exercises, slides, and assessments. Contribute to wider team activities on assessment and teaching as required. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of the programme. Skills & Abilities
Excellent, detailed knowledge of multiple topics within Software Engineering. Confident in Python programming. Experience with Agile Software Development. Familiarity with the DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Aware of broader Software Engineering methodologies and structural approaches. Knowledge of apprenticeships and work‑based learning, or higher education. Understanding of equity and diversity issues. Essential Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree (MSc) Desirable Qualifications
