Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize all aspects of shipping, receiving, and logistics operations within our organization. This role is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods between facilities, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate rates to reduce transportation costs while maintaining delivery reliability.

Implement best practices for shipping, including carrier selection, packaging standards, and freight consolidation.

Monitor shipping schedules and track shipments to ensure on‑time delivery to customers and the manufacturing floor.

Ensure all inbound shipments are inspected, properly documented, and stored in designated areas.

Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.

Support the Director of Supply Chain in developing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives, optimizing processes from goods receipt through customer delivery.

Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost‑saving opportunities.

Lead the team responsible for managing inventory levels to balance demand, lead times, and warehouse capacity.

Ensure bin location integrity through accurate setup, labeling, and internal material movement processes.

Oversee and optimize cycle counting and periodic audits to maintain high inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Production teams to proactively prevent stockouts, material shortages, and excess inventory.

Develop and oversee a structured pre‑kitting process to prepare and stage materials for manufacturing before production begins.

Work with production planners and material handlers to determine the optimal kitting schedule and workflow.

Ensure kits are assembled accurately with the correct components, reducing delays and errors on the manufacturing floor.

Implement a tracking system to monitor kitted materials and ensure timely replenishment of pre‑staged inventory.

Continuously improve kitting procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.

Leverage automation, barcode scanning, and ERP systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Standardize best practices across supply chain functions and document procedures for consistency.

Analyze data from warehouse management and ERP systems to drive strategic decision‑making.

Work with Production managers to coordinate the efficient throughput of jobs to meet monthly shipping goals.

Lead, train, and develop supply chain staff to build a high‑performing team.

Foster collaboration between procurement, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Establish clear performance metrics and provide feedback to team members on productivity and accuracy.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem‑solving within the supply chain team.

Establish a Safety‑First team environment with all supply chain associates, ensuring proper use of PPE.

Demonstrate a culture of 5S awareness, team‑wide, to maintain organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably with OEM.

Proven experience managing end‑to‑end supply chain processes, inventory, logistics, and supplier management.

Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficiency with ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.

Outstanding leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to team management.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
