The Senior Director of Strategic Operations and Analytics provides strategic and operational leadership for Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) and its subsidiaries, integrating financial planning, business analytics, and operational performance management to drive data-informed decision-making and sustainable growth. This role partners closely with the CFO, Business Development, Operations, and subsidiary leadership to evaluate performance, optimize operational execution, and assess new business opportunities. The Senior Director leads the development of performance metrics, analytical models, and forecasting tools that translate financial and operational data into actionable insights supporting corporate strategy, profitability, and shareholder value.

Other duties may be assigned. Strategic & Operational Planning Lead the development and coordination of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range business plans across BSNC and its subsidiaries. Integrate financial and operational planning processes to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and shareholder objectives. Develop and maintain advanced financial and operational models to support scenario planning, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives. Align strategic objectives with operational execution, ensuring performance measures directly support BSNC’s enterprise goals.
Enterprise Operations & Performance Monitor and analyze operational and financial performance across business units to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and analytics to measure enterprise performance. Lead quarterly business reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations to operations and executive leadership. Collaborate with Operations to drive efficiency initiatives, process improvements, and performance accountability. Business Development & Growth Support •
Partner closely with Business Development to evaluate and shape business and growth opportunities, aligning pricing strategies, market analysis, and return-on-investment assessments with enterprise operational and financial goals. •
Provide analytical support for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, including due diligence and integration planning. •
Develop financial and operational tools to support capture strategies and resource planning for new contracts or business lines. Process Improvement & Systems Enhance financial planning processes, systems, and reporting tools to improve forecasting accuracy and analytical efficiency. Implement and maintain financial performance dashboards using Power BI or similar tools. Lead and mentor FP&A staff to develop financial modeling, reporting, and business partnership capabilities. Support integration of CRM, contracts, and financial systems to enable cohesive analytics, forecasting, and performance visibility. Governance & Reporting Ensure that analytical and reporting processes align with corporate policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. Support the CFO with Board and executive-level materials, including financial summaries, performance insights, and forecasts.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications •
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Strategy or a related analytical or strategic field required. •
10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, business operations, or strategic analysis, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role. •
Proven success in business partnering with Business Development or Operations to evaluate growth opportunities and inform investment decisions. •
Experience in a diversified or multi-entity organization; specifically, an entity who does federal contracting or an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). •
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, analytics, and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, or equivalent). •
