Test & Evaluation Engineer (Senior or Lead)

The Boeing Company is seeking Test & Evaluation Engineers to support the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS& B) portfolio, including the B‑1, B‑52, VC‑25A, E‑3 AWACS, and E‑4B platforms. Selected candidates will serve as flight test engineering program leads, subject‑matter experts, and will plan and execute test programs across lab, ground, and flight environments.
Responsibilities
Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
Lead the development of test procedures and improve them by applying lessons learned
Lead test execution efforts, guiding others in test design to meet system‑level requirements
Oversee debriefing of the test team
Lead test programs to satisfy customer requirements
Approve test data before delivery to customer and establish data expectations based on historical data
Ensure calibration system readiness and data validity
Train team members and work under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
5+ years of leading a test team during flight test conduct and debrief
5+ years in systems engineering (requirements, development, or test)
5+ years executing strategies or managing projects that promote customer service and employee engagement
5+ years leading or managing cross‑functional teams within engineering and/or test
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 15–25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Ability to obtain a flight physical
Pay & Benefits Senior level: $106,250 – $143,750
Lead level: $126,650 – $171,350
