Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Advisor @ ConstructConnect This position is within the Product Management division, which is accountable for the success of our software solutions by working cross-functionally with teams that develop, market, sell and support them.

Product Managers will help execute the product strategy by working closely with user experience, development squads and product strategy leaders to ensure that quality products are released on time. They own and manage detailed requirements and communicate through the agile development tools. They develop prioritized roadmaps with incremental releases and continuously keep internal and external stakeholders informed of the progress. They pursue user-centered design and evaluate work‑in‑progress features with user experience analysts to ensure delightful user experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing Product Definition

Embrace the agile product development process adopted by ConstructConnect: Think It! Build It! Ship It! Tweak It!

Actively participate in “design thinking” exercises to help define identified product opportunities and find solutions.

Leverage Voice of the Customer, and Voice of the Organization, to solve problems at hand and articulate customer feedback to agile project teams.

At the end of Think It!, break down features into incremental deliverables (stories) and collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver appropriate design packages.

Articulate new feature definition very detailed and work with agile project teams to develop achievable product roadmap and timelines.

Business Planning

Assist Product Strategy managers in developing product OKRs that are aligned with business strategy.

Track and report product OKR and other product/team metrics on a regular basis.

Product Planning

Breakdown high level product requirements and collaborate with product leaders and user experience teams to define incremental releases.

Manage feature development and enhancements from concept through design to tactical execution.

Define the product release roadmap for at least 2 quarters and communicate regularly to stakeholders throughout the business.

Influence Product Strategy Managers on product (or product line) roadmaps with knowledge of current product and technical capabilities.

Product Delivery

Collaborate with scrum master, agile teams and other key project stakeholders to ensure proper deliverables.

Work with UX, Product Strategy managers to document key customer value and communicate to the GTM teams.

Participate in evangelizing product’s new features internally and externally.

Technical Skills

Be a product expert and go-to person on the new products and services.

Keep abreast of internal and external technologies relevant to our current/future needs and tied to product growth.

Works with other scrum teams to manage the dependencies.

Influences product line priorities and GTM and business priorities.

Frequently interacts with peer groups, SMEs, and UX colleagues to acquire product knowledge.

Exhibits sufficient knowledge of cloud-based software components to help accelerate ConstructConnect backlog grooming.

Regularly interacts often with customers and captures/clarifies detailed requirements.

Exhibits great strong knowledge of features being built and becomes a key point person for other internal stakeholders.

Influences products strategy in shaping the product line direction. Focusses on a product/product line but generally cognizant of and influences other products too.

Regularly interacts with leadership team, key stakeholders to help/influence key decisions.

Exercises judgement by evaluating a variety of factors, including business goals, customer business objectives, and industry/competitive trends, to guide/influence development of multiple products.

Communication

Presents UX intent of the designs for the new features.

Manages expectations with internal stakeholders on short term roadmaps.

Builds strong internal partnership with GTM teams and participates in communicating with GTM members both customer value and upcoming roadmaps.

Informs frequently development squads of roadmaps and VOC findings.

Articulates product vision to customers focusing on competitive separation.

Frequently communicates and advocates for product roadmaps to internal leadership and stakeholders.

Communicates key customer value to GTM teams, timely and frequently.

Acts as the primary contact for GTM members, ARB and development squads.

What You Bring to the Team

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in product management, or product analyst role.

Demonstrated past involvement in supporting various business development initiatives.

Experience in working for a software-as-a-service company a plus.

Experience in or knowledge of the commercial construction industry and/or software industry a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.

Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace.

Team members who live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence every Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
