A Houston-based general contractor known for craftsmanship, integrity, and on-time delivery is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
to join its growing field leadership team. The company specializes in
ground-up civic and community projects
such as fire stations, churches, and other institutional builds, typically ranging between
$10M and $20M . Additional work includes municipal, education, industrial, and general commercial projects across Houston.
This field leadership role is for someone who thrives on ownership, teamwork, and quality — a builder who takes pride in a well-run jobsite and in projects that serve a lasting community purpose.
Pay Range Base pay: $100,000.00/yr – $140,000.00/yr
Additional: vehicle allowance and annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all daily field operations on ground-up commercial projects from start through closeout.
Manage subcontractors, scheduling, safety, quality, and site coordination.
Enforce safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.
Conduct daily and weekly subcontractor meetings and prepare detailed progress updates.
Review drawings and specifications for constructability and field accuracy.
Oversee punch lists, inspections, and project turnover documentation.
Build positive, long-term relationships with clients, trade partners, and design teams.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a
Lead Superintendent
in commercial construction.
Proven success managing
ground-up projects $10M–$20M , ideally in civic, institutional, or faith-based construction.
Strong understanding of structural, MEP, and finish sequences for public‑sector work.
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore preferred).
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Must be local to or willing to relocate to the
Houston, TX area .
