Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Psychology (TIKES) - Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Psychology at Tulane University School of Medicine is pleased to accept applications for one full‑time 12‑month Post‑Doctoral Fellowship in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (TIKES). The fellow will provide early childhood mental health consultation services to children under six years enrolled in early learning centers and family child care homes across Southern Louisiana, as well as their caregivers and families.
Responsibilities
Clinically conceptualize a wide variety of cases involving young children and their caregivers with challenging behaviors, attachment and/or relationship problems, developmental delays, and/or other mental health issues, and make appropriate referrals.
Provide consultation and training to multidisciplinary professionals.
Conduct visits to child‑care providers either in person or remotely via HIPAA‑compliant telehealth; PPE is provided for in‑person visits in accordance with health department guidelines.
Training and Supervision Training and supervision will be provided throughout the year. Opportunities for reflective supervision, teaching, and training may be available.
