Asset Artist Role for The Whiskytree Southern Corporation
The Whiskytree Southern Corporation, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, is the latest incarnation of the renowned visual effects studio, Whiskytree. Learn about our work and locations here: www.whiskytree.com. We are currently looking for Asset artists to join our team and work on some amazing projects! This is a project role with the possibility of becoming a full-time staff position. Candidates for this role must be based in Georgia. Responsibilities
Create photorealistic assets and props using 3D and 2D tools and techniques Strong 3D modeling and texturing abilities Establish continuity between sequences and shots Construct and layout assets to maintain continuity Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity Interface with production effectively, participating in the success of the company. Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in feature film visual effects or games Superior 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering abilities Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, graphic design, or similar art & design disciplines Strong traditional art and photography skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a self-directed manner and in a collaborative team environment Strong working knowledge of Maya and Substance Painter Nuke experience a plus
